    Hear NIWRC Executive Director on Native America Calling

    On Monday, December 9, from 1-2pm EDT, tune into the radio program Native America Calling for a live discussion about President Donald Trump's recent Executive Order to address the missing and murdered Indigenous women crisis, called "Operation Lady Justice." The plan calls for the establishment of a task force made up of government agency leaders. NIWRC Executive Director Lucy Simpson will be a guest on Monday's show.     Women Are Sacred Conference: Call for Artwork Open

    NIWRC invites Native artisans to submit conference artwork for the Women Are Sacred Conference to be held in Saint Paul, Minnesota, June 23-25, 2020. Artwork should connect with the WAS theme, “Carrying Our Medicine and Strengthening Our Vision to End the Violence." Selected artwork will be featured in conference materials and future campaigns. Prizes for 1st place ($500), 2nd place ($300), and 3rd place ($200) will be awarded. Submit images by Monday, December 30, 2019.
